Musician
I have over thirty eight years of experience within the music industry, from the role of bassist with seminal UK punk bands Doom and Excrement of War playing on numerous releases (examples below), through to working as a private music tutor and session musician within the West Midlands providing studio and live performance services for many working bands.
Being self taught for a number of years I decided to enter into Higher Education in order to pursue my love of everything music related, eventually graduating with numerous qualifications and awards in Performing Arts, Music, Audio Engineering and Music Production.
Bass Luthier
Ex-Owner/Luthier of Anarchy U.K. Guitars from 2010 – 2021, where I designed and built Custom Hand Crafted Basses and Electric Guitars, parts and accessories and carried out repairs, custom and maintenance work and private tuition.
Having spent 12 years researching designs, materials, the physics of sound and how sound interacts with different materials in relation to instrument construction, I started building to order in 2010, providing high quality instruments, hardware, custom parts and advice on how to accurately sculpt tone through to January 31st, 2021.
